New funding for Edinburgh communities

Just came across thistrinity1 funding for Edinburgh communities, from the City of Edinburgh Council and the Edinburgh Evening News, the Get it Sorted fund which is awarding up to £500 for community environmental improvement projects.

 

 

Visit the council website below for more information, but the main project themes are:

  • Sorting our visual environment
  • Sorting it for our local community
  • Getting it sorted by working together 
  • Sorting it for a cleaner, greener and safer city

Examples projects might include:

  • Painting a community centre.
  • Planting bulbs on a community backgreen.
  • Tidying up a derelict piece of land.
  • Commissioning a piece of graffiti artwork for a wall.
