Ambassadors
There are currently eleven Innertube volunteer ambassadors helping us with the project. Their job is to write stories about the routes and interact with the public both online and offline about what they see on them.
They're not all cyclists – they're from all different walks of life, and live in different parts of the city. They've all received training in social media and blogging, but apart from that, they're just like all the different people who use the Innertube routes for cycling, walking, and recreation.
You can find out more about the individual ambassadors and see what stories they've been writing below. You can also check out what they are doing right now by following the #innertubemap hashtag.

AmbassadorI am a dispute resolution lawyer, mountain biker, and volunteer Innertube ambassador. Originally from Inverness, I now live in Balerno, a little village 8 miles west of Edinburgh. Living in Balerno lets me combine two of my favourite hobbies: cycle commuting and mountain biking. Look out for me towing my bright yellow BoB trailer around town or in the Pentlands!

AmbassadorHi everyone, I am a volunteer with the Bike Station's Innertube Map project. I became involved in the project because I had recently moved to Edinburgh and was looking for ways to explore the city. I thought the map was a great idea and decided to become more involved. Since then, the network of pathways across the city has led me to some of Edinburgh's most beautiful locations. Other things about me- I work with a great group of people at a Scottish environmental organisation, love cooking, am always looking for recommendations of good films/books, love cafes, and am happiest when I am outside.

AmbassadorInnertube Map Ambassador, I'm mostly to be found on the red line of the Edinburgh Innertube Map, usually on my bike. Outside of work (local council employee) I like football, playing & watching, I'm a season ticket holder at Spartans FC (check them out via the innertube map - red line - Pilton Drive) & a life long Manchester City FC fan (no longer a season ticket holder though). If you've got any thing good, bad, ugly or nice you want to bring up about any thing on or around the innertube map then feel free to contact me & we can have a chat & work on sorting/reporting it together.

AmbassadorI am a volunteer "bike ambassador" for the bike station helping promote the Innertube Map which has been designed to encourage people navigate their way around Edinburgh off road. As my profile photo suggests my full time employment revolves around sitting seven foot up on a horse patrolling Lothian and Borders. I hope to use my ever increasing knowledge of the walkways to assist others enjoy them too...........

Kirsten
AmbassadorHi folks, I'm a volunteer ambassador for the Innertube Map, promoting the off-road path network in Edinburgh, and all the exciting things that happen along it. I enjoy cycling, running (poorly); cooking, baking, and eating the results of such activities; exciting clothes, war literature and films; and dodgy industrial music. When not at work (I'm a PA at a law firm) I can generally be found around Newington and the Meadows and the Innocent Railway paths. Let me know if you have any exciting stories connected to these routes!

Mo
AmbassadorMy name is Mo and I'm an ambassador for the The Bike Station's Innertube Map. I cover stories, events, path problems and issues along the map routes, in particular the Orange Line, which is an off-road cycle/ scooter route through Leith and Portobello. I'm actually happier on water than on land, so I spend as much time as possible in Portobello's handmade skiffs, learning to navigate the coastline.

Ros
AmbassadorHello, my name is Ros. I've lived in Edinburgh for over 20 years and love it. I enjoy photography, cycling and playing fiddle. I play in an Edinburgh-based ceilidh band, and a 10 strong performance band. I also sing in an Edinburgh choir. You can see my photos from around Scotland here: http://www.photography-scotland.com I'm volunteering with Edinburgh Bike Station's Innertube Map project, raising awareness of the city's off-street routes.

Sue
AmbassadorI'm a marketing freelancer, specialising in Scottish tourism and sports projects. I'm also a volunteer on the innertube map project - a network of off-street paths throughout Edinburgh. We'll be blogging about interesting activities on and near the routes, reporting problems, promoting community events. You'll regularly find me out and about on bike and foot on the paths in North Edinburgh.

Ambassador*Life is like riding a bicycle; to keep your balance you must keep moving* I am volunteer for the Bike Station at Edinburgh and try to help where I can to promote the new Inntertube Map. It is a great thing to do and I love to get around the city of Edinburgh with this little map. Apart from that I am working in an office with a very small team where we help communities or landowners to generate their own energy. Annnd apart from all that I am just a happy vegetarian that loves nice folk music, dancing without shoes in the grass and going out for coffee and wine.

AmbassadorAt the Edinburgh Bike Station, we work to increase cycling in the capital. We came up with the Innertube map as a simple way of showing the extent of Edinburgh's off-street cycle network.
