A new exhibition will be opening in TANK at the end of this month, welcoming artist Mairi Lafferty to ESW with her work ‘Kiss The Shuttle’. Kiss the Shuttle is a new installation that explores the Gothic undertones of industrialisation through pattern, code and gesture.
Kiss The Shuttle is part of TANK – a year-long programme of exhibitions and events held in Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop’s street-front gallery space.
Exhibition runs: 28th February to 15th March 2014

Earlier this month saw the start of the new Sculpture Courses programme, with twenty Sculpture Courses on offer in the evenings and at weekends between February and June 2014.

Tour for ‘Exploring Edinburgh’
On 11th February 2014, local group ‘Exploring Edinburgh’ visited ESW for a tour of the Bill Scott Sculpture Centre. The tour was led by Director, Irene Kernan,and included the various workspaces where artists come in and work, a visit to a studio meeting artist Kjersti Sletteland, all rounded off with tea and coffee (and don’t forget the biscuits).
